PTFE has chemical resistance feature, except for molten alkali metals, PTFE films are hardly corroded by any chemical agents. Corrosion resistance PTFE film has no change in performance and weight in corrosive acid environments such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrochloric acid. The excellent corrosion resistance characteristics of PTFE film make it more suitable for the production of high-performance cables such as aviation wires and wiring harnesses with wrapping and sintering process equipment.
